Communications & Content

Journalist and communications person. But more than that, I use my media platform to build a better world. Sustainability is front and centre of what I do, whether it's transforming a clients’ goals into a strategic plan, ghostwriting an op-ed, or editing a trends and insights report - I do it all.

My door is always open to briefs from travel & tourism, creative and design industries, nonprofits and sustainability-led organisations.

Give me examples, please!

In the travel territory, I have written advertorials for leading media companies, such as Telegraph Create (The Telegraph group), The Independent newspaper (a guide to the Philippines); and Conde Nast Traveller Middle East (a luxury guide to London).

In the interior design field, I have worked on websites for companies like Vaughan Design and the Artisan Project. Not just writing words but planning and mapping site architecture to produce a compelling, easy to navigate, site.

In my six year’s working with LIONS, The Home of Creativity, I’ve led on thought-leadership for the executive team.

Sustainability, fine, but what is that, really?

It’s true. Sustainability is now a buzzword, bandied about by the many, who want to jump on the bandwagon. I won’t help anyone greenwash.

As a journalist, I’ve been in the sustainability space for some years. And as Communications Manager for climate and culture charity, Julie’s Bicycle, I honed my knowledge, leading on a communications strategy for COP26 climate conference.

I focus sustainable communications around key frameworks: United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; the Paris Agreement (to reduce emissions to 2 degrees, 1.5 degrees ideally, and to Net Zero Carbon pathways, circular economy systems.
